Virtual piano resized size not retained
I am still at 2.0.3 because newer versions, including 2.2.1, do not keep the size of a resized virtual piano panel.
I did ctrl-mouse wheel, docked, undocked, runs-as-admin yes/no, but it wont store the size. So every time I restart musescore, I have to redo the resizing. I would like to move along to 2.2.1.

And 2.0.3 keeps the size?

Which should mean that this issue exists even in 2.0.3, so there's no reason at all not to upgrade to 2.2.1.
And that the workaround is to dragging the window boundaries rather than using the mouse wheel.

Correct, only saved in 2.0.3. I open this post because the post linked above was for 2.0.3 (my bad). Dragging the boundary does not resize. It only changes the viewport.

As per the issue mentioned above 2.0.3 does not save size changes done via mouse wheel. And I just tested: it indeed does not.
And dragging boundaries does make it wider, up to the width where no scrollbar is needed anymore, but not higher, in 2.2.1, but does in 2.0.3. This doesn't increase the keys though, just shows more.
Sounds like it would be nice to have this bug fixed indeed. But do note, it on;y takes a couple of seconds to resize the keyboard, and you only need to do that when starting a new session - at most maybe once a day? Definitely a very small price to pay for the hundreds of bug fixes and new features in 2.2.1!

@Marc, yes, that bothers me most. Tension increases: more bug fixes pulls me to 2.2.1, the fact that the musescore layout is not saved makes me stick to 2.0.3. Maybe I should jump to 2.2.1 and wait for a fix...
