1) Open "From_Now_On.mscz" file in Musescore 3
I extracted it to a .mscx file and it's intact, I just don't know where the issue is. Unfortunately, I don't remember what I was doing when it crashed. The last backup .mscz, file that was saved was a while ago, so I'd really like to recover this one.
Any help would be much appreciated!

Resolved, thanks! Ended up deleting the parts from the .mscx file and it opened in Musescore.
It sounds like it is better to investigate what could create such a file and prevent MuseScore from crashing on reading such files.

Would you mind sharing a bit more about what you deleted and how? I'm having the same problem and can't figure it out.
The original poster said he deleted all of the parts. It seems he had use file->Parts. It's better if you start a new thread and attach your problem score there to see if someone can fix it.

MuseScore 3 does not crash when I load this file. I am using a self build of current master. Can anyone reproduce this?
Edit: I just reproduced on another computer with the master from last week. Soon I will be able to tell if this was fixed by some of the recent changes. If not, then I will be able to debug.
It does not crash for me on current master, and crashes in 3.0.5 and 3.1-beta versions. Maybe the crash got fixed somehow recently.
