Does it include mallet percussion sounds?

No. There is;
Concert bass drum
Whip
Side drum
Sleigh bells
Gongs
Triangle
Tambourine
Cymbals
The snare sounds fantastic and so does the tambourine, however, I can not get the gong to show up in my drum notation and I am confused about how the cymbal rolls work.

I don't know why there were dynamics on the samples- the cymbal rolls are crescendo.
I don't know what the problem is with the gong. Try editing the drumset and see what's going wrong.
I am now getting the issue where MuseScore says the 'Drumset is too old." I am in MuseScore 3 and up until recently, it has worked just fine. In scores that already had this soundfont, it still works but none of my new scores will work.

A drm file from MuseScore 2 doesn't load in MuseScore 3. Open it with an editor and change the version from 206 to 301.

Thank you! Works just fine now.

Here's a really stupid question.
If the only difference between opening and not opening a drm file in version 3 is that the reported version is 301 vs 206, why not let version 3 open a version 2 drm file by allowing it to open a reported version of 206?

And here's a really stupid answer: no idea!

time to turn that into a feature request?

The code is at mscore/editdrumset.cpp, line 571, turning that into a warning and add an "Ignore" button should sort this issue.
Doesn't come up for the first time...
