ottava numbers only button
I have set a score in which I use ottava 8va and the piccolo part, and as is tradition with classical music I use the 8va symbol by unclicking "Number only". That works. Now I extract parts where I see the ottavas in the piccolo part have reverted to the default style - fair enough - but I cannot change this to 8va. The numbers-only button is ignored, except for the last occurrence in the part.
How do get this to behave correctly?

Yes, that's the problem. I've done that now, which has created quite a bit of rework. Is it possible to turn off automatic placement of dynamics, stave and system text etc as a default?
