Niente symbol
There is no way I know to get the "Crescendo dal niente" and "Decrescendo dal niente" symbols on Musescore 3. It is a huge problem for me and I suppose for many others. I've paid 40$ every year since 2013 and now I can't do things I could before? Come on...

Sorry, but you never paid anything to use the MuseScore application, don't confuse this with using a pro account on MuseScore.com. And having paid there does by no means entitle you for bug fixes here.
However:
The n dynamic is available in the dynamics palette of the Advanced workspace in MuseScore 3, no change at all vs. MuseScore 2.

I know, but I assume that money is used to develop the software.
And I meant the symbol attached. In the other versions I could use the open articulation or the harmonic articulation to get a "fake" niente symbol, but now I can't even do that.

that symbols is available too, in the articulations palette, just like in MuseScore 2

I know that too, but now they can only be placed above the staff.

If you know any way to do what I ask about, just tell me and I'll be as happy as I've always been with Musescore. If you don't, say it, but don't say "Hey, you don't pay for the software you pay for the Pro user blablabla"

Please don't give the impression that you're entitled for support and bug fixing for the MuseScore program because you paid for a pro account on musescore.com, as that is not part of the contract or terms and conditions of a pro account at all.
And if you do, allow me to correct this.

No, It can can dragged to wherever you want it to. But in 3.0.5 you need to disable autoplace for it. Not so in 3.1 anymore, available as a release canditate currently.

And how can I disable autoplace?

In Inspector

There is still the checkbox for circled tip on all crescendo and decrescendo hairpins. It's been there since version 2. It doesn't automatically play to niente, but you have control through the velocity change field in the inspector to set the final velocity at 0.
These can be easily moved above or below the staff by selecting them and pressing X, no dragging necessary.

Hmm...
Looks like the OP doesn't need "to use the open articulation or the harmonic articulation to get a fake niente symbol."
Simply click on the hairpin and enable 'Circled tip' in the Inspector.
(I never used or noticed that.)

I mentioned yesterday that's I've learned much about what I didn't know was in version 2 using version 3. I've claimed (wrongly) a few times that a feature was new to version 3, only to discover I didn't know it was also in version 2.
@Ferry
To be clear...
Here is what you pay for:
https://musescore.com/gerardfarre/sheetmusic
that is, the more than 5 scores hosted at MuseScore.com for the world to see. (Notice the .com)
On the contrary:
MuseScore.org - this website - provides the (free) MuseScore music notation software, and additionally supports the software related user forums.
Over here, any bug reports, suggestions, criticisms, (and compliments) are freely accepted.
Regards.

I perfectly know what I pay for. Thank you anyway.

You gave a very different impression in your initial post
Hey I just wanted to say I'm sorry for this post. I knew the payment is not for the software, since it is obviously free, I just assumed the money went to keep developing and improving it, and I felt frustrated about that Niente issue. Hope you understand.
In reply to Hey I just wanted to say I'm… by Ferry
:-). So, regarding that issue, can you explain the problem in more detail? The various niente symbols, including crescendo and diminuendo to niente, are present as MuseScore - from the day they were introduced years ago, they've never gone away. For instance, "n" is right there on the Dynamics palette in the Advanced workspace or if you click "More" while in the Basic workspace, and you can also edit any dynamic marking or the text "cresc." to add the words "dal niente" or whatever. The circle tip on a hairpin is also easily possible using the Inspector. In all cases the symbol gets placed the same as all over dynamics & hairpins, above or below the staff depending on which way you have set your default placement, and easily flipped to the other side for special exceptions via "X". None of this has changed in years.
So if you are still having some sort of trouble using the various niente symbols, can you explain in more detail?
