MuseScore 3.1 mixer patches are not being correctly saved/loaded on/from score
Patches chosen on the mixer are being messed up when loading a score. Especially the ones with multiple soundfonts and/or sfz files attached to it.
Furthermore, all strings patches selected as, e.g. violins expr., violins II expr., violas expr., violins pizzicato come back to their default values after loading a saved score, i.e. strings expr., strings expr., strings expr. and strings pizzicato, respectively, for this example.

See https://musescore.org/en/handbook/3/voices. Let me know if it helps, we're all still learning how all of this works.

Sorry, but this link is about voices and the problem I reported is about saving mixer settings (patches) to the mscz file and restoring it, a regression in comparison to older versions. I still haven't checked at which version this problem came up, but I'm sure it was working well in MuseScore 2.x.

Sorry, I had the wrong link on the clipboard. I think https://musescore.org/en/node/289914#comment-923058 is the one I was looking for.

#290147: Mixer not remembering changes in the channels is the issue reported first, #290092: 3.1.0.7078 Mixer “Patch” selection can not be saved? is a duplicate.

Yes, the same issue.
