Violins sound wispy and as if they're dragging, anyone know how to fix this?
While making my most recent arrangement I found the Violins to sound wispy and dragging on quarter notes, 8ths notes, and so on. I noticed it after one of the updates. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Change the Violin patch from "Slow Violins Expr." to "Violin Expr." Not entirely sure why the Slow patch is the default, does seem a bit overdone.

For the record, it's not the default in general if you add a violin instruments, but certain templates may use it by default, not entirely sure why :-).

Oh, good point. The templates might just be in need of a once-over; I found similar issues with the guitar templates... (https://musescore.org/en/node/292433)

Updating a template will not fix issues in existing scores. The best way to fix issues is often to open staff properties and change the instrument to the same instrument already selected. This loads the instruments.xml definition from the current version.
