Since version 3.3.4.9066 i have an issue that no sound is played anymore via my headset (CORSAIR VOID PRO) which is set a my default device in Windows, only I hear sound when i select as sound-device "Realtak (R) audio). this effect is seen by any .MSCZ file (own created or downloaded from the internet). I have verified my settings in "Bewerken/voorkeuren/IO" => "MME" & "Microsoft soundmapper -output". I have hit the button 'herstart Audio en MIDI apparaten": no improvement. I have hit the button "herstel alle voorkeuren naar de standaardwaarde' and restarted my application: no improvement.
I have deleted my installation and downloaded the application one more time and reinstalled it. No improvement, I have also tried to apply different settings as API/Apparaat; no improvement in any combination.
I have started Musescore2 on the same PC and here it works fine immediately. I can also start any other sound application (like Audacity) or test sound settings in windows on my PC and headset; and all work well on my headset. Before (last update installed dec 2019) Musecor3 was also working fine with my headset; why is So why is this latest version no longer allowing me to use my headset (while forcing me to use my PC speakers only). Please fix this urgently!

So you're saying the sound won't play from your headphones even after restarting? That is not something I have heard reported before, and cannot reproduce. Hmm, I wonder if maybe the device driver is 32 bit only?
