  1. Add a line to a score with some text at any of the positions: begin, continue, end.
  2. Uncheck one of the corresponding boxes in the Inspector.

Expected result: The text disappears from the line.
Actual result: The text remains. There is now a discrepancy between the Inspector display and the line display.

I believe this issue will be properly addressed in the redesign. Maybe by removing the tick boxes, or adding real functionality to them.

The tick boxes do have a real functionality but it is not a very sensible one in my opinion. They currently toggle the collapsed/expanded status of the begin/continue/end line text dialogues. It would be more consistent with the other inspector controls to have this status controlled by "expansion triangles". Removing that function from the tick boxes would free them up to control the visibility of the text items in the score. But possibly an even better solution would be to make the begin/continue/end text items individually selectable; then the inspector's main visibility tick box could be used to control their individual visibilities. And perhaps it is not a large step from there to allow their text formatting to also be set individually.
