Changing score title
Is it possible to change the title of a score? I know that one can easily edit the text, but it seems that MuseScore keeps the original title that was entered with the New Score Wizard, and I can't find a way to edit that information. It matters because the original title becomes attached to any exported PDF of the score and can be seen in the file information, and even in the title bar of the window when the PDF is viewed in Acrobat Reader.

You probably also want to change the title recorded in File / Score Properties, and perhaps also the filename (File / Save As).
File → Score Properties… → workTitle

Aha! workTitle does it. I missed that field entirely (didn't see the scrollbar in the Score Properties pane).

When I go under File then score properties and I change title it changes it there but online it’s still the same as previously titled even though I save it online.

Change in in the Save online dialog too.
And in the title frame also.

Hi, I am having the same problem with the title of the piece. It is still showing up as the old title in the work title and in the saved copy. I prefer not saving it online , is there another way to change the old work title?
