Bar numbers have placed wrongly
I attach a rogue score, where the bar numbers seem to have got displaced by 1.
Line 2 should start with bar 8, but it says 7. On clicking within bar 8, the bar certainly knows it is number 8!
? please help.

The first measure is excluded from measure count, check that measure's properties and remove that checkmark.
Unless you want to make it a pickup measure that is, like the attached. I guess the MusicXML import got that wrong somehow
