In the latest V3, when I create a custom workspace or even if I load a workspace created in v3.0.0, the palettes panel is empty.
I'm currenttly working with the latest official version ( 3.0.2.5315) on windows 10 64 bits

Have you tried Help / Revert to Factory Settings, or reinstalling? It works fine for me; I suspect your workspace files have somehow become corrupted. Or maybe there is a permissions problem - did you perhaps install as an admin and then try creating the workspace as an ordinary user? What OS?

I'm also having trouble; the custom workspace I created in 3.0.2 now shows a blank pallet window. (Mac OS High Sierra, MuseScore 3.0.4)
Attempts to make a new workspace result in blank pallet windows as well.

What file/directory do workspaces get saved to?

I am having same problem. Suddenly, the workspace panel is empty and I can't get it back. I have tried re-installing, rebooting. OS is Windows 10. Undocking and re-docking the panel somehow corrupts the view, it puts part of the MSCZ file in there.
