If I have the example below (and included score sample), drag-select the first two dotted-eighth/sixteenth notes (both voices), then goto Beam Properties and double-click the first option on the left, then try to Undo, MS crashes.

Thanks Werner, it appears to work in my 4332 build. But since this is a crash issue originating from 1.0, shouldn't this patch also be back-ported to the 1.0 branch for the eventual 1.1 release?

I figured since this is an easily reproduceable crash situation, it would be prudent to somehow or other fix the 1.0 branch, whether the way he fixed it in 2.0 is correct or not. Is this not how you are approaching the imminent 1.x release, to fix the criticals?

Ahh, I understand now. I was comparing the .96 code with the 2.0 code and yes, chordrest.cpp is substantially changed. it would require a different fix.

My current policy on MuseScore 1.1 is to fix highly critical bugs without introducing subtile regressions or to add very well tested new features. Of course, if someone provides a patch, I will happily testing it !
