Mscore V1.0 Page Settings crash

I know there are some other reports of Page Settings crashing mscore, but I think this is a different variant.

Open MuseScore 1.0 with no score loaded, in other words blank screen. Layout > Page Settings... is enabled. Select it and MuseScore crashes.

If a score was created or loaded then closed, keeping MuseScore open, the Page Settings are disabled. I think that PAge Settings should not be enabled in the initial state described, thus preventing the possibility of a crash.

This is on MacBook Pro, OS X 10.6.7.
