Project

1. Create score.
2. Enter notes.
3. Add Tempo Text.
4. Save as Compressed MusicXML (MXL).
5. Open the MXL.

Result: Blank dialogue appears (exclamation mark), click OK or Quit and you are prompted with 'Cannot read file' (cross).

Discussion: Marked as critical because of the inability to access a file.

Using MuseScore 2.0 Nightly Build (4575) - Mac 10.6.8.

Comments

It seems this is not related to the tempo text. As far as I can tell recent trunk revisions cannot read compressed MusicXML anymore. This includes the (known good) Recordare samples. May be related to the recent migration from osdabzip to zarchive.

I don't know how I came up with the conclusion - thanks.

Status (old) active fixed

Fixed in revision 4584. Function return values true/false were swapped, leading to an incorrect conclusion that loading had failed.
