playing sound through my TV
Hi - this is probably a very easy fix so I apologize if i'm overlooking something obvious. But I can't understand why I can't get sound to play through my TV speakers when I attach via an HMDI.
I can see my screen on the TV, but the audio still comes through my computer speakers (itunes etc all play through the TV).
I've searched around but come up empty - any help would be appreciated! It's a Vizio TV and a Macbook Pro but assuming that doesn't matter and it's just something simple like selecting output audio source (can't find that option...)

It seems this is nothing at all to do with MuseScore, but you'll find what you need in the Sound section of System Preferences.

no - unfortunately I tried that. I've already selected my TV under the sound "output" section (everything else plays through my TV, just not musescore.

Ah, sorry, I misunderstood. You may need to make the same change in MuseScore's Preferences, and then quit and reopen MuseScore.
