Slur beginning on last note of system appears not to extent
1. Open score: //musescore.org/sites/musescore.org/files/issues/11bugs.mscz
2. click the last middle C quarter note at the end of the first system, trumpet part
3. hit "S"
4. hit right cursor
Result: slur is extended graphically (only)
Expected result: slur is extended to the next note
Workaround: select the tail end of the slur on the next system and double click that
Normally, slur can be extended immediately upon entry, but not if the first note of the slur is the last note of a system.
Comments
The last version in the branch has been released, focus is now on 2.0.
Chen lung, did you test this in 2.0? It is still present in the 2.0 nightly builds too.
(Tested using Nightly Build ff4a00f
Windows XP)
I can't remember, but I think I asked Marc if he could check.
Everything about slurs seems different to me in 2.0; I haven't taken the time to learn how it is supposed to work. But FWIW, I think my initial description is off - step 4 should be *shift*-right, should it not? At least, in 1.X that's how to extend slurs.
Checking up on this on chen lung's request, I find It's still the case that I don't understand how slurs are supposed to work in 2.0. However, I can verify that shift-S immediately after hitting S anywhere *but* at the end of a system works as expected: the slur is extended to the next note. Whereas Shift-S immediately after hitting S on the last note of a system only nudges the slur. It's a different broken behavior (slur is nudged rather than lengthened graphically), but it's still broken: it should extend to the next note.
Works as expected in 4.0.1
