Notation of Spoken and Sung Lyrics?

I can't seem to find anything in the Help or the 2.0 User Guide on how to notate on a staff the spoken word in a song.
Attached is an example where some words are sung and some are spoken.
What is the best way to notate this in MuseScore? Is it simply a matter of entering notes and then using the Note Heads palette to change their heads to "x's" ?
(And, is there a better place to post this issue?)
