Comments

The instrument name in the mixer is the name of the instrument in the sounfont and is not linked to the instrument name in the staff property box. I put this bug to "by design". Put it on active if I'm not clear.

Mellotron, Wurlitzer and Farfisa Organ are instruments not available from the list (as it's classed as a synthesiser), but you could associate it with another sound. Hence, I re-name it.

Well it follows the part name rather than the instrument name. I myself prefer instrument name too actually.

If I have two flute parts 1 & 2, both have the same instrument name but different part names. I don't want to lose the info about the part name. To me it's correct as is, but of course, if the whole part / instrument archiecture is being redesigned for MuseScore 4, then of course the Mixer should reflect that. But please make sure we don't lose this important feature - the ability to distinguish which flute part we are viewing.

I'll also add that it's possible that an instrument is added for the sound and the part name is changed in the score for some reason. The mixer should match the score IMHO.
