Keyboard navigation problem when changing staves
Create a score with two piano parts. Enter clusters for the right hand in the top staff. Enter single notes for the right hand in the bottom staff.
Click on any note in any measure in the bottom staff: alt-up/down will navigate to the other staff (expected behaviour), but once in the cluster, alt-up/down is "frozen" to the cluster and navigates between the notes in the cluster.
Keyboard shortcuts are set to "factory defaults", no changes have been made.
(Uh oh, it's weirder than I thought: was just trying to see what happens in other cases, added some notes for one left hand at the same position in the measure, and now I see that alt-up/down take me up/down musically - ironically - and not visually, so I navigate from part2-left-hand to part1-right-hand to part1-right-hand to part2-right-hand to part1-right-hand.)
See the feature request I entered today re having navigation shortcuts for "note entry" and "not note entry" modes, e.g., alt-up/down to change staves in not-note-entry, to change notes within a stave in note-entry.
Comments
Alt-up/down behavior is now changed to moved within a chord on a single staff first, then move from staff to staff. I believe this is probably what you want, but in any case, whatever bug may have existed before is surely gone now (perhaps replaced by new bugs :-)
