Can't change playback properties of dynamic markings

Elaborating on this issue:
When selecting a dynamic marking in a score and navigating to the "properties" tab, the "playback" button is greyed-out. As far as I can tell, there is no way to set the dynamic playback options that existed in MuseScore 3 (attached for reference). This makes it impossible to precisely control the precise effect on playback velocity, nor even the range (staff/part/system) to which the marking applies. The default (and only?) behavior is to set the dynamic for all staves of the instrument, so it is impossible to set different dynamics for the left and right hand in a solo piano part and have them play back properly. (Attached is a score which attempts to do this--as far as I can tell, the left and right hand dynamics overwrite each other, with whichever was placed in the score last winning.)
"so it is impossible to set different dynamics for the left and right hand in a solo piano part and have them play back properly."
This is incorrect. You are unable to edit the playback properties of dynamics, but selecting the notes you would like to make louder or quieter and entering the properties tab allows for you to change the volume (Velocity) of the selected notes. If you are unsure how to do this because the properties tab is by default hidden, click on the view menu next to the file and edit menus and select properties from the dropdown menu. When you open the properties tab while a note or multiple notes are selected the playback option will not be grayed out. From there you can edit the velocity of the notes which increases or decreases the volume.
