As you probably know, according to their geographical origin, the ouds (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Oud) have some various tunings.
This means that there is not a standardized tuning that would satisfy everyone.
Mine, for example (Arabic oud -> Iraqi oud version) is tuned: D2 / A2 / D3 / G3 / C3 / F4
It's probably not the same for yours.
From an etymological point of view, as you probably also know, the oud has given its name to the lute. So, the better way is to create your own model, indeed, from a lute (6 courses, or 7 courses), with your own tuning. This done, you keep it as template for reusing at each new score.

I tried following this very same tutorial, I'm using OSX 10.1, but I couldn't Right-clicking on the staff so I select Staff Properties.

On a Mac or most other machines with only one mouse button, "Ctrl+click" does what right click does on other machines.

Nothing happened :( I feel stupid now, I'm clicking on the place appearing in the attached image, is this the right place to right-click? Right-cliking is working fine everywhere else in the program.
