Italic lyrics not good for Chinese
In recent prereleases of MuseScore the even-numbered lyrics are styled italic. This has implications for Chinese and other languages that do not typically use italic type.
My inclination is to suggest that even-numbered lyrics should not be italic by default. Even for English speakers and other Latin alphabet users, the italic type can be surprising.

I agree that italic by default is surprising and I would prefer non italic too.
I changed the default style for odd/even lyrics line to be the same (no italic anymore) (rev. 1763)
