[UX] how to inform users to improve sound quality
A frequent returning comment on MuseScore is that the sound quality is not good. The standard answer is that one can download and install a soundfont in order to improve the sound quality. But how can we inform people about the existence of soundfonts and how we can make it easy for them to download and install those soundfonts.
This issue is meant to be discussed in a serie of steps:
- addressing what the best user experience would be to improve sound quality in MuseScore
- how to implement it for MuseScore 2.0

One suggestion: a startup splash screen with some useful pointers. A (possibly scaled down) version of the proposed Tour, for example, with a checkbox. Or integrate this with MuseScore Connect. Then a more specific dialog that comes up first time you hit Play.
Should this be closed now that one of the best general purpose soundfonts available (FluidR3) is the default?
