If two separate voices are a second apart, and one voice is a chord, the notes will not space properly, and collide. This requires a workaround where a third voice is added and placed on top of one of the notes in question. Using 1.2 r5470 on Linux Mint 13 Maya.

Thanks for your report :).

I see almost the same result when opening it in the nightly build - the focus of the issue tracker.

One of the stems protrudes at the top - is that correct?

Using MuseScore 2.0 Nightly Build (67607ca) - Mac 10.7.4.

Thanks for the quick reply! Yes, the stem of the added third voice is sticking out. In using the workaround I can set the note and stem of the third voice to invisible, so it doesn't affect the completed score (see attached). However, it's silly that such a workaround is necessary in the first place! Is this something that could be fixed in 2.0?
