Master palette "locks up" during search if text-string does not match any symbol

Open the Master Palette (Z) and type "Staccat" (sic) into the search field. So far, so good. Now make a deliberate spelling mistake by adding another "t": "Staccatt".

Expected result: The display should clear as there are no symbols to match the text string.
Actual result: The symbol display apparently "locks up" and nothing can be selected. In order to get it to clear, you have to click away from the Master palette window and click back on it again.
