ALSA driver not found
I have very bad sound quality when using musescore with Pulseaudio, lots of cracking, noises and distortion.
I would like to use ALSA instead because I know from earlier experience that this used to work fine on my system. But when i switch to ALSA in the I/O settings window I get no sound at all with this output in the terminal:
Alsa_driver: the interface doesn't support mmap-based access.
ALSA lib seq_hw.c:466:(snd_seq_hw_open) open /dev/snd/seq failed: No such device
init ALSA driver failed
no audio driver found
I am using Manjaro (Archlinux) and don't have any sound issues with other applications.

Does something happen when you change the device in preferences-> I/O from "default" to "hw:0" (and restarting MusScore)?
It seems there was something wrong with my latest update to ALSA 1.1.4
I reinstalled the relevant packages and now it works again. I only get
AlsaDriver::write: snd_pcm_avail_update() (Broken pipe)
AlsaDriver: recover: stat = 00, xrun of at least 307.745 ms
Is this normal?
I've the same output with OpenSuse and Alsa. Not sure what it means, but Alsa works as expected.
Thanks. So seems there is no issue ;)
