Result: Arpeggio doesn't appear.

Note: The file was taken from a complete score and edited in TuxGuitar 1.2.

Using MuseScore 2.0 Nightly Build (ffaa151) - Mac 10.7.5.

The ones in the picture are known as 'Brush Upstroke/Downstroke' - the squiggly kind are called 'Arpeggio Up/Down'.
