I can enter the number 7 when using the top row. But I can't when using the pad.
Also, according to the shortcuts table, it is suppose to be possible to enter the notes using letters from the keyboard.
0:A, 1:B, 2:C, etc... 7:H.
And it does not work on my lapton, even with the one at work, etc...

If something does work differently, please describe your setup (including keyboard), operating system and system language, nightly version used and so on.

Which keyboard layout are you using? Did you customize the shortcuts? Do you use the top row and not the numeric pad?
I have no problem entering a 7 with a french keyboard on windows 8, using b835131af8
