Lyrics verse number incorrectly positioned

Windows 7, GIT commit: 2242008

Just guessing on how this is supposed to work, feel free to correct me:

1) create score, enter some notes, enter some lyrics
2) drag the "Lyrics verse number" element from the Text palette to the first lyric syllable

Result: number appears below the baseline

This seems to happen because the "lyrics verse" text style uses "top" vertical alignment by default rather than "baseline" as the lyrics themselves do. However, merely changing he text style doesn't change the behavior of the palette item, so I'm thinking the palette itself needs to be edited to.

The text style for lyrics verse seems quite inconsistently applied - X offset has no effect, editing the verse number often moves the number, etc. But again, I'm not sure how this is supposed to work.
