[New Site] incorrect newline processing in user entered text

The "list" in there has single newlines in between the numbered items, entered in the comment area using Shift+Enter. These seem to have disappeared when the comment is shown.
Example of the same issue right here in the issue tracker.
This should be on a new line, break entered with Shift+Enter.
This is also be a new line, but this time the break was entered with a 'normal' single Enter keypress.

In the old forums, breaks were entered with just a Return. In the new forum, if you try create a single line break with Return, the break does not appear in the final post.
In short: Can the old behaviour be restored: Return always enters a line break.

While switching to a new markdown library, we missed that the line break was handled differently. This is now fixed and line break is handled like with the previous site.
