In current master (ef25e60), with JoshuaBonn1's latest work on the Timeline, I find it very hard to differentiate between cells: http://imgur.com/a/MnfMu (file attachments not working for me currently)

Darker line colors, thicker lines, or both seem in order.

Solution for this, with some other tweaks to the timeline colors: https://github.com/musescore/MuseScore/pull/3383

I believe the result is much more readable than before:
