What is the point of the "Select Selection" button?
So there's a button in MuseScore called "Select Selection"
Edit > "Select Selection"
I just have no idea what it does. What is the point of it?

It is select section with no L. If you use Section Breaks, section are defined and you can select only that section. This gives you the ability to for example, transpose only the section if you like.
FWIW, this menu item has apparently been there for years but I only noticed it for the first time last month while going through the menu looking for changes while updating Mastering MuseScore for 2.2 :-)
