(Question from the Spanish forum) Can a cell phone keypad be used for MIDI?

silpopat as if it is possible to use a cell phone keypad as a MIDI input device for MuseScore. I told him I don't think it's possible and MuseScore for cell phones only allow playback.

Any input would be appreciated.

I can't think of any technical reason a cellphone app could not provide MIDI output via USB and hence be used as an input device for MuseScore on one's computer. There are any number of apps that provide piano keyboards or similar interfaces and could potentially be sending MIDI output. I can't say which if any apps actually do this, however.
