Popping noise in MuseScore 64bit (Windows)

Result: you hear popping noise all the time.

Sure. Thank you. But, it is not a duplication, because popping and weird sounds are different issues.
OK, just stumbled accross this in my 'after vacation cleanup' ;-)
The fix is WIP.
First my thought was that the noise relates to performance drop. After some testing I realised that performance is not the case.
See attached score. First measure is full of short notes. Playback is clean, there is no noise.
Second measure contains only quarter notes, but all of them have the same pitch for different instruments. And there is the noise.
I do hear it on mac too. It's not crazy loud pop noise but you can hear it.
