The part interface, manually creating parts (New "single Item" not New All),
when adding a single new part into the list
the routines default previous created part titles to Part 1 Part 2 etc. Necessitating re entry of the titles. I would expect this to occur with New All.

Instruments in the score for a given part title are not lost.

I can't reproduce, or just don't fully understand what the issue is, please describe more clearly

When you want to create only some of the parts from a score, you click the New button rather than New All. In the middle of the dialog box is a field called Part Title. The expectation is that you can Create Violins 1 using the New button and type Violins 1 into the Part Title field, then click New to create another part like Violins 2 and the part name in the top field will say Violins 1. What currently happens is the name reverts to Part 1 unless you click OK and open the Parts dialog again, then the Part Title is accepted. The Part Title should be accepted when you click the New button for the next part.

If you use the New button for several parts, naming each part in Part Title and end up with the Part Titles of (for example)

Part 1
Part 2
Part 3
Violins 2

Clicking OK will of course close the dialog and accept these names. Only the last Part Title you type is accepted.

If you click OK, the open the Part dialog again, you can select Part 1, Part 2 etc. and type a part title, and the Part Titles will change in the top (Select Parts) field.

The attached video shows the issue with part names when you manually create each part rather than use new all. Not shown: When you press OK the parts tabs will be named Part 1, Part 2...Violin 1 (where Violin 1 is the last part added).
