Repro steps

  1. Double click a syllable to enter edit mode
  2. Select all letters of the syllable by CTRL-A
  3. Press the button U in the font style toolbar. font-style.png The syllable is now underlined.
  4. Leave edit mode by clicking anywhere or press ENTER
  5. The syllable is no more underlined

Workaround: Change font style in inspector

Confirmed
That workaround changes all lyrics, not just that one (part of a syllable, so isn't really a workaround. But doing it via inspector works (better, for the entire syllable, not just for a part of it, like the text tool would allow for)
