2) Style / Text Style, choose any of the available styles
3) Try to change the frame setting
Result: the dropdown is empty
Workaround: the frame control in the Inspector works fine, and you can set as style there. This would be "normal" severity to me if that were an option.

Still the case in Beta 3 :
OS: Windows 10 (10.0), Arch.: x86_64, MuseScore version (64-bit): 3.0.0.4516, revision: 59a11cd
Will have a look at fixing this.
This is fixed in https://github.com/musescore/MuseScore/pull/4093, but I can separate out the relevant changes into its own PR.
