2. Select measures 2 and 3.
3. Copy.
4. Paste somewhere.
Result: crash

I cannot reproduce here with: OS: Windows 10 (10.0), Arch.: x86_64, MuseScore version (64-bit): 3.0.0, revision: d3d0f87
But I get a crash eg after copy-past a note on a rest.
Which is a known issue: #278008: Copying and pasting two measures with rests causes floating-point exception
Dimitri, I just want to clarify: do you mean the program crashes when you copy the second note (the note on which the tie ends) and the next, empty measure?
In fact it seems not to crash anymore, probably the cause was indeed in that full-measure rest.
Copying a note on a rest indeed crashes MuseScore but this is probably a separate issue.
