First time trying Musescore 3. Wanted to see if crescendos finally worked (they don't :( back to Sibelius) and found the new automatic magnetic layout crazy.
Just trying to drag three symbols onto the page broke it. See the attached .gif. Either the feature is broken or the UX/UI needs some serious improvment. I still don't know where my first pianissimo went...

It looks to me as if this is a duplicate of #277838: Dynamic and Crescendo/Decrescendo won't coexist in the same spot., which was recently fixed. You can try downloading the latest nightly, and see how that works for you.
Not sure what you mean about crescendos finally working, though - they have always worked in every released version of MuseScore. Maybe you mean, if we've added a new feature to support playback of crescendos on a single note? That hasn't happened indeed. MuseScore continues to use note velocity for dynamics, making this impossible for now. But playback works as it long has for multiple notes. And while indeed there was a glitch for a while in the development builds of 3.0 involving layout when combined with dynamics, this has been fixed as mentioned above. So as far as I know there are no more bugs here?
