I tried to rename an Ossia stave to nothing, it wouldn't work. I tried renaming the long instrument name from Violini I to Violino I, as parts are singular and score isn't... didn't work.
All of that did work when I switched back to main score, though!

What I find is I can edit staff properties just fine, but they aren't linked. Same as 2.x. Sometimes this could be useful I guess, but mostly it's annoying at best, problematic at worst. See #62416: Changes to staff transposition (and other properties) not reflected in linked parts
