[Musescore 3] Adding same note multiple times with MIDI controller replaces last note with a rest and adds a new one.

I was configuring my MIDI controller to use it for note input, however if I press X times the same note, instead of adding X notes it just converts the last note into a rest and adds a note. This happens regardless of note, duration, and delay betweetn key presses.

For example: I pressed C 4 times and got this:

PS: This works perfectly fine in Musescore2 with the same setup.
