Dear sir or madam,

While testing the new Musescore Version 3.0.1.20439, I ran across a more restricted positioning of Staff Text or System Text in the score. I recently learned that there is a "enable/disable autoplace function" in the inspector, making it easier to flexibly position your text. Since I move staff or system text in the score quite often, I would find it rather helpful to have a shortcut for that purpose. Could you create one?

Respectfully yours

We may indeed add one - see the discussion in #278999: Need option to completely disable Auto Placement

But for the record, you shouldn't need to disable autoplace just to reposition staff text. Only if you wish to move it below something it would not normally appear below, or above something it would not normally appear above - on other words, only in rare cases. So while moving staff text might be a common activity, needing to disable autoplace should not be. If you are finding otherwise, it could be you are using staff text in situations where some other type of text should be used instead. So I would encourage you to attach a score ato show us an example of a staff text you are moving that requires disabling autoplace, so we can understand and assist better.
