Extra slur.gif

In this video I have selected several notes using shift + click that included a single voice 2 note. Notice that there is a slur applied only to the voice 2 note. It shouldn't do this.

When I try to reproduce this from scratch, I don't get that effect - can you attach your actual score?

I have to say, though, the behavior shown doesn't surprise me either. After all, the usual behavior of the slur command is to add one-side slur if a single note is selected with a rest following, and since only a single note is selected in voice 2, MuseScore is following its usual algorithm here. If you don't want to add the voice 2 slur, you should exclude voice 2 from the selection via the Selection filter 0 also a good idea if all the notes had a voice double. Otherwise you end up with slurs in both voice 1 & 2. Which might be what you want, I guess.

That said, sure, we could special case situations where only a single note is selected in voice voice but multiple voices are selected in another, and choose not to generate the one-side slur in those cases. Which, as I mentioned, is what already seems to be happening for me when I try to reproduce this.
