OS: Windows 10 (10.0), Arch.: x86_64, MuseScore version (64-bit): 3.0.2.5194, revision: f494c48
In the 2.x mixer, changing the sound was very easy: clicking on "Sound" displayed a small drop-down list with scrollbars which could be changed very fast.
However when you click on "Patch" in the 3.0 mixer, you get a long list equal to the height of the PC screen, and scrolling is via the mouse wheel only.
Suggestion: Restore the dropdown to its former size (in 2.x) with a scrollbar.

... but with a search box, the 2.2 format would also work fine for me.
