Copy it to other instrument which would double.
the repeat sign doesn't follow in copy.
The content of the measure in the repeated part needs to be deleted to be able to set a repeat sign.

If you mean the measure repeat that looks like % then this is a duplicate of #280685: Copying measure repeats doesn't work reset to active and explain if I'm wrong.
