V2 and V3

I now have both installed. Changing over is taking me a while, I am so much slower in V3. So much has moved. But you cannot take the files backwards. So once they are in V3 they will not work in V2. I do understand why, they has always been the case with software. But it is very frustrating.

Is there a way to save the files in V2 format in V3. I know this might loose some features, but most of it will do. Going via Midi is a possibility but you lose so much that way.
