Okay, I am digging around and realizing that .mscz files play correctly, but none of my .gp3, .gp4 or .gp5 files work. I have always just loaded the gp files directly into MuseScore and they have always played just fine.
Did support for these or did something reset?
If I open a gp file, I can save as an .mscz and it does play correctly when I open it, but it's only saving one instrument..that could be my lack of knowledge with the program.
My last MuseScore version was 3.01 and it worked, so I decided to test.....
I just uninstalled completely and did a fresh install of 3 different versions with default settings.
MuseScore-3.0.1 - All gp files play correctly with fresh install
MuseScore-3.0.3 - Piano for all instruments
MuseScore-3.0.4 - Piano for all instruments
I very well could be missing something that changed as I am still learning this application.
I would have no problem opening all of my old gp files and saving them as .mscz files, I just don't know how to get all the different instruments to be in separate tabs on a save to .mscz.
Okay, more info....I see how to save all instrument parts as an .mscz So all good there.
Oddly enough. If I save the gp file as an .mscz and open the .mscz file's instruments play correctly, then if I go back and open the gp file , the gp file's instruments play correctly too. If I close MS and open the gp file the instruments are again all piano.
This happens on both Mac and Win.....testing in 3.04

Any update to this? I am running both 3.04 on Mac and W10, both are doing the same thing? Is there a fix in the meantime?
3.0.4 has that bug fixed

I am using 3.04 on Mac and W10...that is when it started doing it for me.
Then it got to be a different issue. Open a new one and attach a score showing the problem

As mentioned earlier: open a new issue and attach the files showing the issue. Here you're just beating a dead horse.

Best is to go to the Support forum, attach your score, and say what non-defaults you are using.

List your soundfonts you have loaded into the fluid tab in the inspector. Tell us the order from the top down.
