This came up in https://musescore.org/en/node/285520. Open the attached score. See the dynamic in measure 1. Autoplace min distance is 0.5sp yet there is no space between it and the arpeggio above. It turns out that the bottom of the arpeggio is not being accounted for in the AP min. distance.
This seems to affect all arpeggio and strum symbols. In M7, the dynamic lies under a strum symbol, but if you increase AP min. distance it only starts working at about 0.9sp.

Issue is that we are deliberately miscalculating the shape of the arpeggio to facilitate cross-staff arpeggios, but it isn't really working correctly. See #275962: Stave distance widens if there is a cross-arpeggio, including my two suggestions for solutions.
