Some items randomly not translated

• Apr 27, 2019 - 01:58

When I switch languages, I often find the the word Search remains in the language it was in before the switch. This is both the palette search and the instrument search. I also have found that the word Timeline, when you right click in the toolbars area, remains with the previous translation while all other items are translated.

Since my system language is English, that is the language I look at most. I've noticed the problem most when I switch to Portuguese-Brazil, but I'm sure I've seen it in Spanish and probably Dutch also. I don't think its a specific language, because sometimes the translations update and then don't. So sometimes timeline is in English when I have Portuguese, sometimes it's in Portuguese.

I see this in both 3.1 & 3.0.5.

There is still the problem of certain terms which, although translated a long time ago, are not applied, for example, to palettes. For some Jojo says it is due to a dependence on QT, for others I think it could result from an independence between the general interface and the glyphs that populate the palettes. But it's just my idea. And sooner or later the fixes will arrive according to the Todo list
We're adjourned, now my volunteering moves to the mountain ;-)
